:: SOA ::

There is no widely-agreed upon definition of service oriented architecture (SOA).  Its literal translation that it is an architecture that relies on service-orientation as its fundamental design principle.  SOA can also be regarded as a style of information systems architecture that enables the creation of applications that are built by combining loosely coupled and inter-operable services.  The Architecture is not tied to a specific technology, which allows a wide range of technologies to be used in implementation.

Why SOA?

The main drivers for SOA adoption are that it links computational resources and promotes their reuse.  This can help your business respond more quickly and cost-effectively to changing marketing or business needs.
